Poker Goals: I have a dream
Every year I try to sit down and knock out some goals for me to work toward for the upcoming year. This year I have personal goals which will of course remain personal but here are a few of my goals as a Poker Player.
1. Never ever Bonus Chase again. (While the money can be good it is really not worth the time and effort at an hourly rate.)
2. Win a seat in the WSOP or equivalent $10,000 buy in tournament. (I came very close last year and it was quite frustrating.)
3. Be patient, avoid tilt and never play when angry. Huge leaks for me.
4. Never be afraid to bet.
5. Slow play the nuts.
6. Never tap the glass.
7. Play poker 50% Live and 50% online.
8. Tip the dealers and waitresses more.
9. Never be afraid to fold.
10. No more “What the hell, I want to see his hand” calls.
Finally, make the effort worth the time. Four hours for a $20 freeroll payout is ridiculous.

Bonus chasing for the lone sake of bonus chasing is rarely worthwhile…
WSOP is my goal as well… Let’s push each other on this one!
As for tilt, you want bad beats to happen… it keeps the fish in the game…
GL to you!
Mike
